A general guide to our process is:
COMPREHENSIVE PERSONAL INTERVIEW AND ASSESSMENT
- A
discussion of personal, work and educational life, including past
experiences, life values, current situation, satisfaction and stress,
desires and questions for the future
- A
battery of assessments which generally include measurements of a
number of the following – life
and career values, temperament and personality characteristics, career
interests, competencies, management style, life balance and life
stressors.
FEEDBACK AND GOAL SETTING
- Analysis,
interpretation of the assessment battery, focusing on future pursuits
- Merger
of assessment results with stated goals of the participant, taking
into consideration other issues such as health, lifestyle, finances,
stress and balance concerns
- Assistance
in preparation of a career development plan, including all options,
risks and rewards, as well as actions steps and timelines to meet
goals
CONTINUING SUPPORT AND SKILL BUILDING
- Emotional
support during career transition
- Expert
advice from computer/marketing research consultant who can provide
information on using the internet and databases relating to occupations,
organizations and key individuals
- Educational
planning if needed
- Job
search skill building (resume preparation, networking and interviewing
techniques, communications, organizational and time management)
- Continual
coaching and instruction until goals are met.
