ROLE COMPETENCY PROFILING

Leadership Bridge Ltd. provides organizations with competency profiling for groups or individual roles. Competency profiles generated through our processes identify the crucial skills for excellence in meeting critical strategic challenges. We have been helping others use the Lominger Limited, Inc. Leadership Architect Suite® tools to develop such innovative profiles since the early 1990s. Our association with Lominger means that your role profiles can immediately be integrated with in-house paper or electronic performance management and succession planning systems.

Situations for using the Leadership Bridge Ltd. Role Competency Profiling processes include:

  • Integrating a new role into an existing group role constellation;
  • Establishing the critical competencies for individual team leadership;
  • Establishing the competencies which drive excellent organizational leadership in implementing a new business strategy;
  • Defining the core leadership competencies and roles for all levels of all divisions of an organization;
  • Providing the foundation for an organization-wide, strategically integrated Human Resources planning, development, high potential development and key role succession planning system;
  • Identifying the competencies required for performance improvement in positions without such profiles;
  • Coaching a client (either high potential or derailing) to negotiate role clarity and performance priorities with the supervisor.

  • Using the Career Architect Sort Cards© to create profiles in an interactive process, generating significant levels of commitment;
  • Given an articulated organizational operating strategy, directly integrating role profiles with strategy using the Organization Cultributes Architect© from Lominger.
  • Interviewing internal experts using the Career Architect Sort Cards© to provide management with written role profiles and analysis, including plans to use The Recruiting Architect® for asking the critical recruiting questions, resume validation and interview assessment for candidates for each role profiled.
  • Assessing performance against role profiles using a PeopleSoft® ePerformance module preformatted with Lominger competencies
  • Automating performance management using competency role profiles with SuccessFactors, Inc., online Performance Manager™ Lominger Edition.
